A cinematic walkthrough animation produced ahead of construction, used to communicate the design intent to the client and their family.
Before committing to construction, the client wanted a clear, realistic sense of how the finished home would actually feel to move through — not just static renders of individual rooms, but a continuous walkthrough that captured the relationship between spaces, light and materials.
Working from the finalized architectural and interior drawings, the walkthrough was choreographed to follow a natural entry sequence — arrival, living spaces, staircase, and finally the rooftop terrace — with lighting set to golden-hour conditions to show how the home performs with natural light through the day. Camera movement was kept slow and steady to prioritise legibility over spectacle.
The final animation runs just under three minutes and was used directly in client presentations to confirm material choices and finalize a small number of layout adjustments before construction drawings were issued — catching two circulation issues that were far cheaper to fix on screen than on site.
